Alan S. Chanales, MD, FCCP, attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University in New York City, NY, and received his medical degree in 1977. Then, he served his internship and residency at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. In addition, Dr. Chanales received board certification in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He remains an active member of the Maryland State Medical Society, which allows him to stay active in his specialty. Moreover, he attained fellowship of the American College of Chest Physicians.
